"RBF Interpolation and Iterated Approximate MLS Approximation"

I plan to present the connection between these two methods given by residual
updating algorithm. Hopefully this will prompt a follow-up discussion about
similar connections in statistics, where these methods should be closely
related to kriging and (higher-order) kernel methods
