Financial support - how to apply
|
|
All students (interested in) joining the summer school are strongly encouraged to apply for
financial support. This can simply be done by sending an e-mail to Dr. Hartje Kriete
(summer@math.uni-goettingen.de) with a CV and academic record/transcript attached (preferably
as PDF files).
Deadline for applications is 05 June 2008.

Financial support for students from partner universities
|
|
In 2008, the following universities have joined this intensive programme as official partners
and satisfy formal requirements installed by the EU:

The University of Tor Vergate, Rome, Italy

Universitat de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain

University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland

Universite Pierre et Marie Curie et Universite Paris Diderot,
Paris, France

The University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom

Politechnika Warszawska, Warsaw, Poland
Students enrolled at one of the universities listed above will receive financial support along the
following guidelines:

Trevel expenses: 75% of travel expenses will be reimbursed.
The reimbursement will be calculated on the base of the prices shown on the tickets.
The usual restrictions (e.g. airfare: economy class, only) apply.

Accomodation and living expenses: A lump sum based on a weekly rate of 175 Euro will be paid.

|

Students from all other universities (interested in) joining the summer school are strongly
encouraged to apply for financial support. However, as funding is limited, at this time no
precise statement on the amount can be made. The earlier students apply, the better ...
